2nd Annual L4L Motorcycle Tour

Coming off a very successful ride last year, Living For Liz (L4L) is heading out again for a morning of beautiful scenery and the gathering of riders for a great cause.  L4L is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing awareness and education of lung cancer to the masses as well as assisting in the funding toward lung cancer research for new diagnostic testing and a cure.

The ride on June 8th is along The Great River Road.  This route has been named as one of the top ten most scenic motorcycle routes in the US, and it is in our back yard.

The ride starts at 10AM (rain or shine) at Rod’s Power Sports in La Crosse, WI.  We will head south on Hwy 35 to Prairie du Chen and cross the Mississippi River to Veteran’s Park Shelter in Marquette, IA where we will have lunch next to the river.  After lunch we will head north along the Great River Road traveling through Iowa and Minnesota.  The end of the line is in Vet’s Park in La Crescent, MN where LizFest is taking place. This ride is a beautiful ride with some curves and hills on the north leg of the trip.

At LizFest you will be treated to live music; food and beverages are available for purchase. You can watch the bean bag and  volleyball tournaments, or kick back and enjoy the rest of the day talking with your old and new friends that you have met on the ride while sipping on a cold one.

With every preregistration of $30, you will receive a $5 food coupon for Rudy’s Drive Inn in La Crosse.  Day of event registration is $35. Regardless of when you register, you will receive a super cool T-shirt, (ladies we them in female sizes this year) can koozies, a button to get into LizFest and a beverage ticket.

Preregister by calling Rod’s at 608-788-4514, or online at www.livingforliz.com/motorcycletour.

Please preregister so we can determine the number and sizes of shirts to order. Otherwise on the day of the event we cannot guarantee your size will be there.

We can’t wait to see you out there!
